emPower People Bandana Cowl

Start: August 14, 2020
Finish: August 16, 2020

Ramblings:
I didn't have the called for materials to make the original cowl, but I needed this to distract me. -_- So, I used up some yarns from stash. :) Here is my project page on Ravelry.

After using up some Purple (Caron Simply Soft), I decided to add colors from Gilbert Barker's 2017 39th Anniversary 9 Color Diversity Flag.

Knit with these yarns:
Lavender - Diversity - Red Heart Super Saver Solids, Medium Purple
Hot Pink - Sex - Pink yarn from this pack on Amazon (not an affiliate link)
Red - Life - Red Heart Soft Solids & Heathers, Cherry Red
Orange - Healing - Red Heart With Wool, Tangerine
Yellow - Sunlight - Red Heart Super Saver Solids, Bright Yellow
Green - Nature - Big Twist Value Solids, Emerald
Turquoise - Magic/Art - Premier Yarns Everyday Baby, Turquoise (held double)
Royal Blue - Serenity - Caron One Pound, Royalty
Violet - Spirit - Red Heart Soft Solids & Heathers, Grape

  1. Do you know what weight of yarn you used? The pattern says you can do all sizes with 100g of yarn, but I don't think it's possible. I'm running out far too soon.

  2. I have a project that I started years ago when my son wanted to learn to knit. 13 years later, I am hoping to convert to a shorter scarf like this. It was going to be a longer one. I have 64 rows of alternating knit row, purl row, with a width of 65 sts (14.5 inches).
